Green Power Sweden has opened the nomination period for the Electrification Prize 2026, recognising actors that demonstrate leadership, collaboration and concrete action to advance electrification in Sweden.
Established in 2023, the prize highlights organisations and initiatives that make a tangible contribution to the green transition. Previous recipients include Ovako Group in 2023, Hitachi Energy in 2024 and Fyrbodal Municipal Federation, which received the 2025 award for its strategic and collaborative leadership in the energy transition.
With the nomination period now open, Green Power Sweden welcomes nominations for companies, organisations, public actors and initiatives that are helping advance electrification through implementation, collaboration, innovation or strategic leadership.
Nominations should be submitted to info@greenpowersweden.se no later than 14 August 2026.
Selected by the Summit Advisory Board
The recipient of the Electrification Prize 2026 will be selected by the Summit advisory board, which also supports the secretariat in developing the programme for Green Power Sweden Summit 2026.

Prize Ceremony at Green Power Sweden Summit 2026
The award will be presented on 6 October, during the first day of Green Power Sweden Summit 2026. Held in Stockholm on 6–7 October, the Summit brings together key stakeholders from across the energy sector to discuss electrification and the future of the energy system.
