Green Power Sweden has opened the nomination period for the Electrification Prize 2026, recognising actors...
About the Conference
On 6–7 October 2026, the most influential actors in the energy sector will once again gather at the Waterfront Congress Centre in Stockholm for the Green Power Sweden Summit – the meeting place where industry, policymakers, companies and experts across wind, solar, storage and power technology come together to shape a robust and future‑proof energy system.
Join a programme that dives into the energy transition, electrification, market development, permitting and energy security and explore new technology, trends and networking opportunities throughout the exhibition hall and in the fast‑paced Power Talks sessions.
The first day concludes with a networking event, offering the perfect setting to connect with peers across the energy system and continue the conversations that move the transition from ambition to implementation.
Welcome to be part of the conversations driving the energy transition forward.

Accelerating the Energy Transition
Green Power Sweden Summit 2026 explores how renewable electricity can help deliver the societal value Sweden needs, from stronger competitiveness and energy security to fossil-free industry, transport and everyday life.
Across 1.5 conference days, senior decision-makers, industry leaders, public authorities, investors and experts will discuss why new electricity production, grid capacity, flexibility and storage are needed, what is slowing progress today and what Sweden risks if the transition does not move fast enough.
The programme connects policy, competitiveness, grid development, energy security and public trust into one system perspective, with a focus on the decisions, partnerships and solutions needed to turn renewable energy into real benefits for society.
The main language is Swedish, with simultaneous interpretation into English.
The schedule is preliminary and may be subject to minor changes.
Continue the conversations in a relaxed networking setting in the exhibition hall. Mingle plate and drinks will be served while exhibitors, partners and conference participants connect and exchange insights.
Kick off the day by visiting our exhibition hall, featuring approximately 40 exhibitors showcasing the latest in the energy transition. Enjoy a delicious breakfast while connecting with your peers and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
More details about the main seminar programme will be added shortly.
Enjoy coffee, tea, and light refreshments while networking in the exhibition space, alongside short inspirational talks on the Power Talk stage – the industry’s own stage – taking place in the exhibition foyer.

Renewable power plants are evolving from individual generation assets into more complex, integrated systems. Drawing on a Finnish wind + BESS project and international STATCOM experience, this session explores how hybrid control and dynamic reactive power compensation can help renewable power plants use grid connections more effectively and meet increasingly demanding grid requirements.
Who Should Attend?
If you are developing, owning or integrating wind, solar or battery storage projects, this session is for you. Learn how hybrid control and dynamic reactive power compensation can improve grid utilization, support compliance with increasingly demanding grid requirements and help unlock the full potential of hybrid renewable power plants.

AI-Driven Multi-Market Optimization: Unlocking the Full Value of Hybrid Energy Assets
The rapid deployment of co-located wind, solar and battery storage is changing how renewable assets create value. This session explores how AI-driven forecasting and multi-market optimization can help hybrid assets allocate capacity across ancillary services, day-ahead and intraday markets while respecting technical and operational constraints. Using real operational examples and market data, we show how intelligent optimization can maximize revenue, improve asset utilization and strengthen project economics.
Who Should Attend?
If you are developing, operating or investing in hybrid renewable energy assets, this session is for you. Learn how AI-driven optimization can coordinate wind, solar and battery storage across multiple electricity markets to maximize revenue, increase asset utilization and improve long-term project value.

ReBladeNet Launch: Circular Contract for Wind Turbine Blades
Join us as we celebrate the launch of ReBladeNet’s circular contract for end-of-life wind turbine blades. During the event, recycling companies and wind energy owners will sign a joint commitment to strengthen circular solutions for composite materials and reduce reliance on landfill. The contract is open to additional signatories. Come and learn how your organisation can contribute to advancing sustainable and circular alternatives for end-of-life glass fibre composites.
Who Should Attend?
The contract is open to a wide range of stakeholders. While wind energy owners are the primary signatories, organisations from across the value chain are welcome to support and join the initiative.

Beyond MWhs: Why Wind Power Needs a New Commercial Model
For years, wind power profitability has been driven primarily by energy production and power prices. That paradigm is changing. Future winners will be those who optimize not only energy output, but also balancing capabilities, flexibility and market participation. Discover how wind farm owners can unlock new revenue streams and reduce imbalance costs by integrating energy trading, balance responsibility and ancillary services into a unified commercial strategy.
Who Should Attend?
If you own, operate or invest in wind assets, this session is for you. Learn how to navigate growing market complexity, reduce risk and increase revenues by combining energy trading, balance responsibility and ancillary services in a unified commercial strategy.
